A New Generation of Earth Observation Tools

The goal of the EOtools project is to establish a common mathematical framework for compound remote sensing data sets, and apply it to develop methods for analysis of earth observation data from different sensors, possibly with a high number of bands, with different spatial resolution and acquired over a period of time with changing conditions. The methods will be general, enabling use within a broad range of earth observation applications.

News

In the first half of the project period, a new mathematical framework for automatic analysis of compound data remote sensing sets has been established, and interesting results have been obtained on analysis of multi-sensor and multi-scale data. You can access further details on these results (reports, articles, presentations) through the menu on the left. In 2003-2004, the main focus will be on hyperspectral analysis, multi-temporal analysis and validation.
